Frenectomy
A frenectomy is a minor surgical procedure that involves the removal or modification of a small band of tissue that connects two structures in the body. In the context of oral health, a frenectomy is often performed on the frenulum under the tongue or the frenulum connecting the lips to the gums.
Orthodonic canine exposure
Your canine teeth, the pointed teeth at the front of your smile, play a crucial role in biting and digesting food. Some people experience canines that develop out of line and into the wrong position in the gum (impacted). Dentists perform a dental procedure to help guide an impacted canine tooth into its proper position in the mouth. Dr. James is a specialty doctor in oral surgery. He therefore possesses the skillset to fix impacted canines and improve your bite problems or aesthetic concerns
Wisdom tooth extraction
Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, reside at the back of the mouth as the final set of molars. Their growth frequently leads to various dental issues. We recommend removing wisdom teeth to prevent decay, infection, gum disease, and pain.
Biopsy
A biopsy involves taking a small tissue sample using surgical equipment. Dr. James, specialising in maxillofacial surgery, has the qualifications to perform biopsies on lumps or concerning areas in the mouth. Afterward, the tissue sample is sent to the lab, where it undergoes microscopic review
